    What to Expect When Earning a Bachelor of Public Administration Degree

    Earning a bachelor's degree in public administration will consist of 120 credits that take an average of four years for students to complete. The vast majority of courses will consist of course related subjects such as legal issues in public administration, making public decisions, managing nonprofit organizations, urban planning, fundraising and dealing with emergency situations. In addition to these courses, students will also take up to 40 credits of courses related to general education studies. These might include subjects like math, science, written communications or history.
