          Typical Courses and Subject Matter in a Psychology Degree

          During the four years, on average, that it takes a student to complete a bachelor's degree in psychology, they will earn roughly 120 credits and take an average of 40 different classes. The core classes will be related to the field of psychology and might include topics like developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, psychological testing, sensation and perception and the ethics of psychology.

          In addition to the classes that revolve around the theory, study and practice of psychology, students will take a number of classes in communications, history, literature, science and even math.
