What is a Master's in Science Education?

A master's degree in science education is a one to two year advanced degree that focuses on preparing students to create curriculum for science programs, teach advanced students or determine how to assess students through exams and projects.

Many aspiring master's degree students don't realize that there are three different types of science education degrees to choose from at this level: the master of education in science, the master of arts in science education and the master of science in education.
