To Click Or Go To Class – That Is The Question

The debate between the effectiveness and popularity of online degree programs with the traditional campus programs rages on. Some prefer the structure and face-to-face contact of a campus classroom. Others prefer the flexibility of the online experience. Here's a summary of how students learn through both programs.

Online Versus Traditional

A 1999 survey conducted by Professor Kathryn Holleque in the Division of Education and Psychology at Valley City State University gave some insight into the preferences of students when it came to online classes. Fifty-three percent of those surveyed stated that completing coursework online is more convenient than the traditional campus model.
